The Impact of Policy on Vermont's Food Traditions

  • University of Vermont-Davis Center Burlington, VT (map)

Rural Vermont presents at the NOFA Winter Conference with RV staff Graham Unangst-Rufenacht and Ben Hewitt

This workshop will explore how policy and the resulting regulations impact the food traditions of our state, as well as broader, inter-sectional implications relating to climate, economic viability, and the health of Vermonters and the land. The focus will be a clear and concise explanation of the policy landscape, as well as an honest assessment of related outcomes.

NOFA's 37th annual Winter Conference is Feb 16th-18th. Rural Vermont is proud to sponsor! Rural Vermont members can learn more and register today at member rate using access code NOFA-19RV at www.nofavt.org/conference. Email winterconference@nofavt.org or call 802-434-4122 with questions.
