Online via Zoom | Free & Open to all Rural Vermont Members

Rural Vermont’s policy, education, and organizing work is rooted in what we hear from our community members, and the community members of our organizational allies. In order to provide more opportunity for you - our members - to provide input to, and to ask questions directly of, our staff members, we’ve decided to offer online forums at least four times a year. Join us for the first one on September 22nd!

These forums will be opportunities to share the needs and challenges you are seeing on your farm and / or in your community, the barriers you see to overcoming these challenges and meeting needs, the ideas and opportunities you envision, and where you think Rural Vermont may best position itself in relationship to these things. Members can ask about our policy and organizing priorities, about how we make decisions as an organization, about our organizational allies and relationships such as with the National Family Farm Coalition or La Via Campesina, and more.  These will be spaces with clear ground rules related to respectful communication and dialogue - we’ll be facilitating using methods which work to ensure that all voices are heard.
