This spring, Vermont passed a law to restrict the use of pesticides known to kill our pollinators. Join Rural Vermont and the other members of the Pesticide Coalition to celebrate with a potluck on the State House lawn!
Vermont's new law classifies neonicotinoids as a restricted use pesticide, which means that the pollinator-killing pesticides can only be used by certified applicators. This is a big step forward to protect the pollinators we need to keep our food system healthy.
But we know we have more work to do! Join us on August 1st to celebrate and get involved in what comes next!
