Fair Share for Vermont Campaign!

Rural Vermont is supporting a coalition of organizations - Fund Vermont’s Future - in its proposal for a more equitable taxation policy for Vermont.  The Fair Share for Vermont proposal is a 3% personal income tax surcharge on annual income over $500,000, affecting the wealthiest 2% of Vermont taxpayers and generating approximately $98 million in state tax revenue that can support the needs of the public.  Let your representatives know that you support this legislation ahead of the 2024 legislative session!
